Dr. David Boehme, the son of Dr. Jeffrey Boehme joined Allegheny Vision Associates in May of 2023.
Dr. Boehme completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College where he also was a vital part of the baseball team. In his senior season as an All Conference player, Dr. Boehme, lead the entire NCAA in doubles. After undergrad David continued on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia PA. Throughout his studies in optometry school Dr. Boehme went through a plethora of clinical experience including: Erie VA and Medical Center in Erie PA, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia PA, and MyEyeDR in Raleigh NC before returning to the Steel City.
When not seeing patients Dr. Boehme still plays baseball in the local Daily News League, enjoys golfing during the warm months, and bowling during the cold winter months.
